William Bill Edward Brummett went to be with The Lord suddenly on January 29. 2026. Born April 15. 1938 in Newport. Rhode Island.
Graduated from Harleyville Ridgeville High School. Attended Barber College in Columbia, SC in the late 1950's.
He worked as a barber from 1961 to 1978 in St. George, SC. Married Margaret Canaday in June of 1960. He married Mildred Brummet in 1979 and
Moved to Greenville, Miss. In 1980. Mr. Bill retired from Brown and Ruth Co. as a pipefitter and welder at the age of 74.
He enjoyed sharing the Bible and carrying the message to others in the Nursing Homes in Greenville. He also enjoyed antique cars and gas pumps.
He loved cats, food, and traveling around the United States.
Bill is survived by his daughter Connie Brummett Black, Michael Black. Son Edward Brummett and Carolyn Brummett. He is proceeded in death by
Son Billy John Brummett and wife Mildred Brummett.
Parents William Joseph Brummett, deceased and Margaret Ellen Infinger . Margaret Remonia Brummett Way, Bud Way, Al Godwin, deceased.
Survived by brother Billy Gene Brummett and Dorthy Jeanne Thompson Brummett.
A burial service has been planned by his daughter, brother and sister in law soon to be announced. He will be laid to rest by Mortimer Funeral Home.
