Buddy lived a large and happy life and loved his family and friends. He also loved cars, boating, and Tennessee football.

He owned/operated Evans Trucking Company of Chattanooga and spent many years driving 18-wheelers as well. He was affectionately known in the trucking community as “Dead Head”.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Evans and Dorothy Lawson Evans; his sisters Georgia Evans and Ann Marler.

He is survived by Becky Crumbley Evans; his daughters, Kim (Billy) Bynum, Kristi (Anthony) Sims, and Kaylia (Michael) Stewart; grandchildren, Chesney Claire and Conner Evans Bynum, and Brooklynn Leigh Sims; brothers and sisters, Sharon (Lee) Allen, Eddie (Janet) Evans, and Joe (Sheila) Evans; many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
