William Edward “Will” Campbell of Groton Massachusetts passed away peacefully on April 20, 2024 with his loving mother at his side, he was 37 years old. Will was born December 26,1986 in Providence Rhode Island.
He is survived by his mother Tina Roderick of Fitchburg, MA. Will was predeceased by his dad, the late Leo Roderick of Fitchburg, MA. Also survived by William Campbell of Woonsocket, Rhode Island as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews throughout New England.
William moved to Seven Hills Pediatric Center, Groton, MA in 1993 where he resided for 19 years. In 2012, with the help of Seven Hills Foundation, William achieved a life-long dream of moving into his own home. His team of dedicated nurses, doctors, certified nursing assistants and direct care support aides helped William in all of his daily care and needs as well as assisting him to live a full and active life. With their support William developed a fondness for country music, concerts, nature, camping, fishing, travel and animals. He was a devout New England Patriots fan and often watched them play on the big screens at area sports bars.
William’s family would like to thank Seven Hills Foundation for providing William with loving care throughout his life. William’s mother would also like to thank Beacon Hospice and their wonderful staff of angels. William’s last wish was to go home from the hospital. With his Hospice team’s assistance William was able to spend his final days in his home with his caregivers, housemates and family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life for Will at Badger Funeral Home, 45 School St. Groton, MA on Friday April 26, 2024 from 1:00PM – 5:00PM. Burial will be private.
