Mr. William Lamar Carder, 52, of Hartsville, passed away Tuesday morning, May 23rd, 2023, while at home with his loving family.
A native of Kershaw, SC, Mr. Carder was a son of the late James “Jimmy” Hinson & Judy Marlene Klawer. William loved spending time with his family and his beloved dog, Lizzy. He enjoyed building and fabricating one of kind things in his shop. He also loved cars and working on them.
He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years and high-school sweetheart, Doris “LeAnn” Carder of the home; children: Christain William Carder, Courtney LeAnn Carder, and Emma Channing Johnson all of Hartsville; and a step-son, Brandon Scott Sox of Chapin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Becky Marlene Carder; sisters, Cathy Casey and Patricia Gaskins.
The service celebrating his life will be conducted at 11:00 on Saturday morning, May 27th, 2023, from the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home with Reverend Charles McLendon officiating. The family will speak with friends following the service at the funeral home.
