WILLIAM DENNIS CARNER

POSEYVILLE, INDIANA

William Dennis Carner, 76, of Poseyville, Indiana, born July 1, 1949, to William "Bill" H. and Helen Nadine (McCarty) Carner in Evansville, Indiana, passed away, Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at his home in Poseyville, Indiana.

He graduated from Owensville High School in 1967 and worked at Carner Grain & Repair for 15 years, G&F Equipment for 12 years, Azteca Milling for 9 years and operated an antique booth in New Harmony, Indiana for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and collecting Indian relics. He loved attending his grandchildren's sporting events.

Surviving are his daughter: Shelly Nicholson (Kenny); sisters: Cynthia Dean Harris (Larry), Melisa Kay Ruba (Jim) and Tammy Stolz (Joe); grandchildren: Alexandria "Alex" Rojas (Mel) and Isaac Dickenson (Cassady Hibner); great grandchildren: Crew, Penelope and Gia Rojas along with several nieces & nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a sister: Sheila Ann Hargis.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at the Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville, Indiana with burial to follow in Bethsaida Cemetery near New Harmony, Indiana.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Monday, November 24, 2025 at the funeral home.
