CASSELMAN, WILLIAM H. of Waterford; March 2, 2024; age 82; Loving husband of Christine for 48 years; Beloved father of Mali Barris and Kristina (Bryan) Phelps; Dear brother of Thomas (Rhonda) Casselman, Dr. Gertrude Verser and Susan (Kevin) Williams; Cherished grandfather of Bela, Lily, Mikayla and Brianna; Son of the late Max and Elizabeth Casselman. Brother in law of Diane Hernandez (late Luis) and the late Dr. Janice Runkle; Uncle of MacAndrew, Michael, Keelah and the late Elizabeth. Mr. Casselman owned Cassel Home Improvement and was retired from Energy Savers. He was a member of the Builders Association, was an Eagle Scout, Boy Scout Leader and served as the area Chairman and Cultural Chairman of Families for Children. He attended Royal Oak Dondero High School and was on the wrestling and hockey teams. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Central United Methodist Church, 3882 Highland Road, Waterford. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Boy Scouts of America, Starlight Theater or to a children's charity of choice.
