William Clinton (Bill) Cauldwell Sr., 87, resident of Plainfield, Indiana passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Meadow Lakes Nursing Home in Mooresville, Indiana unexpectedly. He was born on March 16, 1938, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late William Henry Cauldwell and Louvena Stewart Cauldwell. He was the last living child of four to his late sister, Patricia Owns and brothers, Harold Cauldwell and Kenneth Cauldwell.
Bill attended East Arson Tech High School. After completion of school, Bill worked as a pipe fitter for General Motors for 39 years and retired on September 1, 1998. Bill served four years in the Indiana National Guard as a culinary specialist (cook) during the Vietnam Conflict.
Bill was a devoted and loyal husband to Bridget Ellen (Holden) Cauldwell. They were married January 27, 1961, in Indianapolis, Indiana. They had seven kids with the loss of Belinda Rose Cauldwell, who died at birth.
William was a devoted father and mentor to his children. He was a coach for Little League baseball and basketball teams.
Bill Cauldwell is survived by his children, William Clinton Cauldwell Jr., Bridget Adele Rahn, Arther Jerome Cauldwell, Louvena Sue Love, Kevin Lee Cauldwell and Ida Rose Flores. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Private family time is Saturday, November 29, 2025, 10:30 am until 11:00 am at Saint Susanna Catholic Church, Plainfield, Indiana.
Visitation is Saturday, November 29, 2025, 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Saint Susanna Catholic Church, Plainfield, Indiana.
Funeral mass will be Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Saint Susanna Catholic Church, Plainfield, Indiana.
