William J. Charbonneau, 85, of Glennie, passed away Friday, January 16, 2026 at his home.
Born August 6, 1940, to Lawrence L. and Eva Mary (Charboneau) Charbonneau in Bay City, he was raised there. On September 9, 1958, he married Phillis Sanders in Pinconning. They were longtime residents of Linwood, and retired to Glennie. Bill loved hunting, fishing, and woodworking.
Bill is survived by his wife, Phillis, four daughters, Kelly Zadonia of Sanford, MI, Phyllis (Rich) Jachim of Wyoming, MI, Eve Kammer of Apollo Beach, Fl, and Beth (Terry) Dennison of Pinconning, MI, 19 grandchildren, Wm. Dustin (Sarah) Beck, Nikki (Sarah) Charbonneau, Diane, Doug, and Nicole Zadonia, Jennifer (Bill) Bekkering, James, Cory, and Nicholas (Anne) Kajdan, Michael (Emily), and Christopher (Haley) Kammer, Arthur Jr. (Melanie), Kiel (Angela), and Kevin Dennsion, Jaqueline (Tyler) Bloom, Savannah Kajdan, and Tony (Kayla) and James (Erica) Jachim, 27 great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, his brother, Anthony Charbonneau, and his sister-in-law, Marlene Musselman. He was preceded in death by his son, William Charbonneau Jr., his parents, Lawrence and Eva Charbonneau, his father and mother-in-law, Floyd and Elanor Sanders, three sons-in-law, Gary Zadonia, Grag Kammer, and Arthur Dennsion, four siblings, Eva Mae (James) Leland, Donna Arnold, Lawrence (Joyce) Charbonneau, and Donald (Pam) Charbonneau, and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Norma (Harold) Green, Margie (Louie) Kosick, Leland (Jean) Sanders, Martin Sanders, and James Musselman.
Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. No services are planned at this time.
