William Ray Clark, Jr. age 72, of Harrisonville, Missouri passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025.

William Ray Clark, Jr., was born in Presque Isle Air Force Base, Maine, on August 1, 1953, to William Ray Clark, Sr. and Anna Davis Clark. He graduated from Belton High School on May 25, 1971. In 1967, he attended the Billy Graham Crusade in Kansas City, Missouri, soon after attending the crusade, he was baptized in the First Baptist Church of Belton, Missouri. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, October of 1971. He was assigned to Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, for Basic Training, from there he was stationed at Lowry Air Force Base, Colorado, 1971. Next stop was Hollman Air Force Base, New Mexico, and then Forbes Air Force Base, Topeka, Kansas. After completing his active-duty service, he attended Northwest Missouri State University, graduating in May of 1980, and made Deans Honor Role. He was employed by the Department of Defense until he retired in April of 2002.

Billy, as he was known by family, liked to hunt, attend Rodeo's, cook, bake, and travel. He liked to visit and explore locations throughout the United States that he had read about. He liked to read about WWII history, conservation, westerns, steam engines, and gardening. He spent summers growing up on the Clark family farm in northwest Missouri.

He was preceded in death by father, William Ray Clark, Sr.; grandparents, Ray and Mable Clark, Tarkio, Missouri., Ted and Leona Davis, Rock Port, Missouri. Survivors include mother, Anna Davis Clark; brother, Stuart Alan and wife, Leea, Peculiar, Missouri; nephew, William Ryan and wife, Stephanie, great niece, Hadley Ryan, San Angelo, Texas; sister, Robin Roxanne Woodburn and husband Leslie; nephews, Justin Paul, Nathan Shawn, niece, Tori Kay Woodburn, Cleveland, Missouri.

Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M., Thursday, November 20, 2025, Raymore Christian Church, 500 Peace Dr, Raymore, Missouri 64083.

The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:00 A.M., Thursday, prior to the service.

Graveside Service and Interment: 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 20, Home Cemetery, Tarkio, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Raymore Christian Church or American Heart Association www.heart.org or the charity of your choice.
