William Andrew Cooley Jr.

William Andrew Cooley Jr. passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022.
William was a 2005 graduate of Wake Forest Rolesville High School and a 2010 graduate of Wake Tech. He was a caring son, grateful grandson, protective brother, playful uncle, nephew, cousin and loyal friend. He was a one of a kind person and was lovingly known as "Cooley". He loved to tell jokes, and it was said "his presence was entertainment enough" that's a fact! In his adolescent years he enjoyed playing sports and riding his skateboard.
William was incredibly smart and had a love for learning. His passion was to get ahead, but sometimes circumstances in life held him back from his true potential. William had overcome his struggles and began creating a new found life. He obtained a respectable job and got back on his feet. His friends and family witnessed a true transformation that made everyone proud.
William is survived by his parents; Dana and William "Andy" Cooley, his grandmothers; Doris Cooley and Shirley Narron, his sister Alicia Inscoe, his uncle James O'dell, two nephews; Trevor and Jacob Inscoe, as well as lots of other aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends from Maryland, Florida and California.
The family hopes that by sharing William's story, that it will inspire others that may be struggling with addiction to change their life for the better before it is too late.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg, NC 27549.
