Bill was one of my first students at GSU. He became my most impactful teacher in life. He taught me how to see the best in others and have compassion for those who are struggling. Bill made an immense impact on so many students. I´m a better educator because of him.
Bill left too soon. We had unfinished business to discuss, world problems to fix, conspiracy theories to debunk, and many campfires to plan our world takeover. But not in this life. His ideas are too grand for this planet. Philosophers work best on the inside world and that is Bill´s office. Rest assured, the friendship in spirit continues through Keri, whom Bill adored. We had so many years of joyful memories with Bill and Keri!
Godspeed, my friend.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Bill. My heart goes out to Keri, Will, and Wyatt. We've had the privilege of being neighbors and serving together on the HOA board for the last four years, but more than that, we've shared a friendship. They are truly the most wonderful family, and I´m so grateful to have known Bill. He had such a great sense of humor and was one of the kindest people I´ve had the pleasure of meeting. Our time with him was far too brief. Keri, you and the boys are in our thoughts every day, and please know we are here for you, no matter what you need. May Bill rest in peace, and may the love and memories you shared bring you strength as you move forward.

I was so sadden to learn of the passing of Mr. Daly. I had the honor of being his administrative assistant at The Give Center East his first year as an Assistant Principal. Mr. Daly was a great Assistant Principal and had teachers and student's back. He was a caring man who really tried his best to help others. For his family, I will be praying for you all during your time of grief. Please know that Bill touched so many lives including mine and for that, I am very grateful. Fly high Mr. Daly and you will be missed.

My deepest condolences on the passing of Mr. Daly. In a short time, he left a lifetime of impact-guiding, encouraging, and uplifting everyone around him. I´ll never forget his words: "Ms. Evans, walk with me." That simple phrase meant so much, and now carries even more weight. He was a rock star Assistant Principal and a steady light in our school framily. Praying for his wife and their boys as well as all he touched with his light. May his legacy continue to inspire, and may his soul rest in peace.

Keri and family, I can't imagine how you are coping with your loss. There aren't adequate words to express how I am feeling now. I always enjoyed working with Bill and considered him a true friend. If I needed disciplinary help in the classroom Bill was always my first choice. He was a great administrator and fair to students and teachers in addressing their needs. He will be truly missed.
Keri and family, You are in my prayers. Love to all of you. Mary Lou

To Bill- A man I was not fortunate to know long enough, but long enough to have been impacted by his presence on this earth.
In English we say "I am grieving" but in poetry we say
My eyes spilled forth the oceans- waves of sorrow coupled with the riptides of anguish and despair.
In English, we say "he is in a better place."
In poetry we say his spirit ascended from a world that buckled when he wrote the last sentences to the final chapter of an amazing and exclusive series.
In English we say "it was an honor to know him"
In poetry we say, a series of millions of seemingly disconnected paths and choices led us to the same timeline in which his presence altered my perception of what it meant to be a leader and a decent human being.

Mr. Daly was a wonderful smart man. I will miss our long talks in the mornings during car duty. He taught me so much and knew the History of everything. Mr.Daly was an empathetic, dedicated, and diligent educator, team leader, and administrator who was not only professional in his communication with students and colleagues, but amicable.
His inviting, hospitable office door depicted his welcoming, cordial, and smiling demeanor.
Widely read and well travelled in the mind and intellect, he expanded the social and intellectual horizons of his students and all who fell within the experience of his stimulating conversations.
He was a critical thinker with a zeal for learning and exploring new thoughts, new ideas. I recall after-school hours when he would engage me in insightful discussions of books which had recently captured his mind.
An asset to all employs and to those in the embrace of his companionship, Mr. Daly was held in high repute and will, indeed, be missed.
Keri and family, let sweet, fond memories of your dear loved-one and the grace of God bring you a joyful peace and restore your happiness.
"Now cracks a noble heart... Goodnight."
Condolences from Delia Phillip- Esdaille and family

Mr. Daly was so much more than an AP, he was a friend and mentor to so many. Bill listened and supported his teachers and students. I will miss our chat walks, his candid advice, and radio calls.
He cared so deeply for family. Bill often would tell me to spend time as much time as I could with my son because one day my little boy wouldn´t be so little. He loved his wife and children fiercely. His face would light up each time he spoke about them. I pray God wraps His arms around them during this time.
So many of us feel like this isn´t real, we still feel him here. It feels like his work isn´t done, however I know he is saying "you´ve got this." His encouraging nature is still present. Bill, you will continue to make your mark for years to come.
The fRamily will miss you always.

Bill Daly was the kind of person you´re lucky to meet once in a lifetime. A brilliant, yet humble, quiet force for good in the world. Working alongside him was a privilege. He wasn´t just my boss, he was my friend, and I feel so lucky to have had that opportunity.
He had a gift for making everyone feel seen, heard, and valued. Always there to lend a hand, in any way that he could. He dropped bits of poetry, history, and wisdom around like seeds. Throwing lessons into everyday conversations in ways that changed you without you realizing it. No one did it better.
His love for his wife and sons was evident in every word he spoke about them. My heart breaks for Keri and his boys. His family meant everything to him, and he gave them his whole heart, and they gave him theirs.
My life is better because he was in it. I will carry his kindness, his laughter, and his legacy with me always.
Tonight we dine in Valhalla, my friend.

Bill Daly was my friend, my think-partner, my confidant, my help, and my solace. He was the kind of friend who showed up-with his words, his time, and his heart. He loved my children as if they were his own and was a true friend to my husband. Our conversations could span everything-from the intricacies of a Spanish phrase he was curious about, to the latest recipe he´d tried, to thoughtful updates about the students and teachers we were working to support.
Bill had a gift for deep connection. He would text at any hour with something funny, wise, or thought-provoking-always making me feel like I had someone in my corner. His passion for education was only matched by his devotion to his family. Keri and the boys were his world. He was the most dedicated father and husband I´ve ever known.
I learned countless things from Bill-about being a better educator, a better leader, a better listener. But most of all, I learned from him what it means to be a better human.
May God hold him and keep him. We will miss him more than words can say.

I worked with Bill Daly for five years at Bay Creek. He made students and staff feel safe and seen. He was cool, calm, and collected with a quick wit. His safety and security meetings were legendary and a highlight of our preplanning agenda. As we go back to work on Thursday, the fRAMily will miss him dearly - his passing has left a gaping hole in our Bay Creek community. I´m thankful to have known him and sending peace to his loved ones.

I mourn the day of your passing, but today, I choose to celebrate your life. You were a great man. I can say with full confidence you always looked out for the best interests of your staff.
I celebrate the wisdom you shared and the honor I had in receiving your personal advice. Sometimes you´d dive into historical stories I had no clue about, but even then, it was a privilege just to sit and listen to you.
I celebrate your deep respect for our kids and the way you uplifted them. You had a rare gift the ability to calm storms, to help people breathe and think clearly. You were the steady voice in chaos, the presence that brought peace.
Your life has touched many and the seed you planted in others will spread and impact more than we can see or imagine. Rest easy, Mr. Daley. Job well done. Because of you, lives have truly been changed for the better.

What an amazing man who made a permanent mark! I keep going back to two sweet conversations that Mr. Daly and I had recently... one in May and one during summer school. I told him in May that I had two favorite "Daly stories." I regaled him with fun memories of interactions and told him that I was one of his biggest fans. He said, "As I am of yours, Mrs. Boles." Truly, an amazing man who leaves a gap in our school and in this world.

Words cannot express the gratitude I have for being privileged to work with Mr. Daly as we at Bay Creek Middle School so affectionately called him. I was blessed to work summer school with him, and he complemented me several times on how I handled children and my teaching styles. That wasn´t the first time he did that as he was such a motivator and kind person. He will truly be missed at our school. What a fine soul we have lost, and heaven has gained.

Professionally, Mr. Daly helped walk my son through a very, very difficult sixth grade year two years ago. He advocated for him, became a safe place for him to retreat during the school day, checked up on him in his classes, and reassured me as his mom that my son was safe and doing OK.
Personally, having known Bill years ago as a dear friend of my husband, he was absolutely one of the most unique, insightful and hilarious people I´ve ever known! He loved to ask questions about you personally and was genuinely interested in your responses. He thought outside the box, absolutely adored his wife, and was fiercely loyal to his friends.
To say he will be missed is an understatement, and we are comforted in knowing that he has two precious sons to carry on his legacy and all the things we love about Bill.

I've been thinking a lot about growing up with you. The stupid things we would get into as kids. How we turned into respectable adults (within acceptable limits). I remember hanging out with you and Keri when you got the call to be a substitute teacher. I remember when you briefly got into rugby. Going to Georgia Perimeter College and bothering our professors when we got bored between classes. Proposing to my wife at your house. Raising our families. Double-dates with Keri and Megan. Everyone around you benefited from having you there.
I always thought there would be more time. I'm praying for Keri and the boys.
