William Marven Davis William Marven Davis, 56, of Mt. Harmony Community, Fairmont passed away Friday, September 6, 2013 in Tyler County. He was born in Fairmont on October 25, 1956, a son of Barbara (Young) Davis of Fairmont and the late Marven Davis. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Ellen (Patton) Davis in October of 2009. William worked at Novelis Corporation in Fairmont as a maintenance technician. He was a member of the Eagles of Fairmont, the American Legion in Tyler County and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting and target shooting. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Karen Davis of Fairmont, two brothers, Fred Davis of Fairmont and Chuck Davis and his wife Suz of Morgantown and a sister, Susie Atkins and her husband Tom of Salisbury, MD. Also surviving are four nieces, Stacia Davis of Gainsville, FL, Betsy Atkins, Amanda Atkins and Emily Atkins, all of Salisbury, MD. In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, his body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
