William "Bill" Del Monte

R.I.P. Mr. Del Monte

Talk about an American with a story to tell. That story was incredible just like this man was in his long life. Sad today to find out that you have passed on. Your now with the rest of that crew that had the same piece of US history on that sad day in California many moons ago!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Being at the mercy of sin and death was never God's intention. He will soon restore peace on this earth and give us everlasting life. Psalms 37:29. Now it's rare for someone to reach 109,the day will come when it will be common.

I'm pretty sure the family and friends considered it a real blessing, to enjoy their beloved "Bill" for so long...However, I can only Imagine how hard it is for them to say goodbye under these circumstances. My sincere condolences to all of you. May the God of all comfort grant you the strength to endure your loss, knowing that is His desire to become your Stronghold in moments like these, while you cherish the great moments you all had together as a family...

Rest in Peace

Beloveds, so saddened to hear of "Bill" Del Monte's passing. What a long life he lived. Many cannot say the same. He was one of those "especially strong." May his memory live in your hearts and in God's book of life . . .

My dearest Uncle Bill. So very sorry I did not get out to see you. Was going to surprise you on your 110th B-Day. Your in the arms of your beloved now. My Auntie Vee. I'm sure my father, mother, uncle and of course sister were there to also greet you. Rest in Peace

My sincere condolences to Mr. Del Monte's family. It is so amazing to hear of those who have enjoyed such long lives, but even more amazing is the promise God has made to give mankind the opportunity to live forever in the restored paradise earth. May this hope for the future bring you comfort and peace (John 6:40)

I am so sorry for your loss. Although your hearts are filled with pain and sorrow, our prayer is that you gain comfort and hope from God's promise to reunite us with our love ones on the earth, never having to say goodbye again. For Jesus will make this earth the problem-free paradise that His Father intended it to be. We have gained comfort and strength from this promise, may your family do the same.

Mr. Bill, I don't think anyone has ever had one up on you. WWI, WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, Persian Gulf, Iraq, Afghanistan, and everything in between. Rest in Peace young man, you've done your part for America.

It is a beautiful thing that he had such longevity and was able to relate his story of survival to many. My condolences to his niece. May God give her peace.
