My late brother Clay Bradley was on the Cal varsity tennis team with Bill and his late brother Jim in 1955.
I watched tennis matches where both Clay and Bill were playing in championship matches after Cal, when I returned from Korean Service. Bill was a great tennis player and really nice guy. My heart goes out to Suzanne and his family for the loss. God Bless You, Rick Bradley

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Bill. I considered him a good friend. It is said that how one conducts himself in athletics is a good predictor of how one conducts themselves in life. Both on and off the court, Bill exemplified integrity, fairness, passion, and a tremendous desire to be the best he could. He had a great sense of humor and was very generous. I am proud to have known him.

My prayers and thoughts to the entire family. I was the ring bearer in his marriage to Kathy as my parents and grandparents were among his family's close friends in the early days of the Greek community. I went to high school with Suzanne and a special thought to her. I will never forget Bill and the impression he made on me in my days of youth. May his memory be eternal.

i'm saddened to read of Bill's death. When i first came to Sacto in the late '50's he and Kathy were among four first friends. Met at Sutter Lawn..altho' i was not even in the same universe with the skill of Bill's tennis game!! He was a 'straight up' guy..someone you always felt you could depend on. A quality person thruout!!!
I'm sorry to miss the service tomorrow..but my best wishes and thot's..and sympathies are with Suzanne and all his family. Stan Atkinson

Sorry to see the passing of Bill. Hope your family is coping as best you can as has to be a tough one. While I would not be classified as a good friend of Bill's, thoughout the years we saw each other periodically through tennis or out at Del Paso. As I am sure everyone who ever met him is aware, he was nothing but class and just a top notch person. He will be missed.
