Rincon- William Felix Dixon, age 69 went to be with the Lord Tuesday morning, March 25, 2025. William was born in Savannah, GA to the late Bobby Dean Dixon and Eleanor Wilson Dixon. He enjoyed bowling and loved football, auto racing and baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves. William enjoyed coloring, socializing and Marvel movies. He was a member of Compassion Christian Church and he was always known to have a smile on his face. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dixon was preceded in death by his sister, Vicki Dixon Clark and brother, Bobby Glenn Dixon.

Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law Michael D. and Kathy Dixon; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Ricky Shuman and extended family, Sarah Coursey, Sharon Eichelberger, George Adams and Tony Coursey; numerous nieces and nephews; former caregiver, Annie Marshall; the Wild Ones Bowling League and Savannah Garden’s Little League Baseball Team. The family would like to recognize the wonderful care that William received from Riverview Nursing Home and staff; Gateway of Rincon, including Tammy, Kristie and Terry; Southern Choice and Dr. Kristen Updergraff.

Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2025 at the funeral home

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2025 in the chapel of Flanders Powell Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Bolen officiating.  Interment will follow in Northside Cemetery
