William Farris Dunbar II, came into this world November 6, 1970 and relinquished this life May 16, 2024 at Riverside Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
Known to his loved ones as “Billy”, he had a zest for life and a contagious energy that made him the life of the party. Billy had a passion for sports, both watching and playing. Basketball and football were his favorite sports and he was dedicated to the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Billy had a diverse taste in music and he could always be found listening to artists like Scarface, 2Pac (Tupac), Master P and various west coast musicians. Billy had a soft spot for animals and throughout his life, he cared for cats ,dogs ,and reptiles.
When he wasn’t immersed in his hobbies, Billy enjoyed spending quality time with his loved ones. Family and friends were his priority, and he cherished the laughter and positive energy shared during family gatherings. Billy’s strength was unmatched, and he always persevered through challenges.
He leaves to survive, remember him, and cherish his memories, his parents, William Dunbar Sr. and Loreese Dunbar; children, Tera (Derrick) Kendrick, Tyrone Custer, Devon Taylor, Deamonté Dunbar, and Alexander Dunbar; siblings, Timothy (April) Dunbar, Deandria Dunbar, David Dunbar, Erin Dunbar, and Evette White; special friend, Chee Chandler; a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
For the past few years of his life, Billy was so blessed to have his sister, Deandria and her family as his primary caregiver and provider. The rest of his family could not be more grateful for their loving sacrifice. Billy will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him and the privilege of loving him.
