William Dunn Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors on Feb. 24, 2026.
William Ernest Dunn, 72, of Saint Helen, died on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at his home in the presence and comfort of his family.

William was born November 15, 1953, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Maynard O. Wyckoff and Helene M. Smith.

William had a deep love for the simple joys in life. He was passionate about motorcycle riding and treasured the many miles and memories made along the way. He especially enjoyed fishing with his best friend and uncle, Larry Fous. Above all, William cherished time spent with his family. He will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor and his favorite sayings, including "Got $50 in your pocket?" and "Hey, it's the pest."

He is survived by his sisters, Karen (John) Horn of Twining, Michigan, and Dawn (Jim) Marquis of St. Helen, Michigan; his brother, Pete Wyckoff of Menominee, Michigan; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Helene Smith and Maynard Wyckoff; his sister, Brenda Wyckoff; and his brother, David Wyckoff.

William will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of William's life will be held on March 7th at 12:00 p.m. at the American Legion, 10062 Ford Dr, St Helen, MI 48656
