William Patrick (Pat) Eidt

William Patrick (Pat) Eidt, Sr., of Norcross, GA was called into the home of our Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 24, 2024. He lived a life surrounded by family and friends and is now with the angels.

Born in Natchez, Mississippi on July 22, 1948, Pat was a man of many passions, known for his love of golf, hunting, playing the guitar, passion for music, and cheering on his beloved Georgia Dawgs. He proudly served his community as an avid volunteer and civil servant in Norcross, Georgia and also dedicated time to the National Guard.

Pat was a 1966 graduate of the Cathedral School in Natchez, Mississippi and graduated from Delta State in 1970. It was during his college years that he met his wife Beverly.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Polly Hudson Eidt; beloved son, William Patrick Eidt Jr., brother and sister-in-law Joe and Mary Frances Eidt, and sister-in-law Betty Lane Eidt. During his 55 years of marriage to his beloved wife Beverly Eidt, Pat cherished their time together and adored his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Eidt Manton and Blake; cherished grandchildren, Mary Grace Manton and Davis Manton; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Lucy Eidt; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann Eidt Poole and Harvey, Betty Lou Eidt Hicks and Johnny; as well as a host of extended family and dear friends.

Retiring after a successful career in the automotive industry with Ford Motor Company and Reynolds and Reynolds, he leaves behind a legacy of hard work and commitment.

Funeral services to honor Pat's life will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 in the Peachtree Corners Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory with Rev. Becky Martin officiating. The family will receive guests at a visitation from noon until 2pm followed by a celebration service in Crowell Chapel at 2pm. A graveside service on the property will follow.
