William O. Elletson Jr.

William O. "Bill" Elletson, Jr., age 75, of Erie, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024. He was born in Erie on January 24, 1949, a son of the late, William O. Sr. and Virginia Cassidy Elletson.

Bill worked at Inland Container for 16 years where he became a certified Maintenance Mechanic. After his time at Inland, he moved to California, where he worked for Rema. When Bill moved back to Erie, he worked for Erie Plating, GAF, and Dana Brake Parts until he retired. He enjoyed learning and going through new training at all his different jobs. Bill loved his motorcycles and being around his family, especially his grandkids. He also enjoyed walking his dogs, Houdini and Mario.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Elletson; and son-in-law, Jonathan Gibbons.

Bill is survived by his wife, Helen List Elletson; daughter, April Gibbons; son, Matthew Elletson; grandchildren, Sarah, Nicholas, Samantha Gibbons, Anthony Elletson, Phoenix Elletson, Devin Elletson, and Malik Norris (Breanna Michalski); great-grandson, Kormani Norris; and his dog, Mario.

At the family's request, private arrangements are being held at Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to ANNA Shelter 1555 E 10th St. Erie, PA 16511.
