It is with deep sadness and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of William, who left this world unexpectedly on November 26,2025. He was a devoted husband, brother, father, and grandfather whose steady presence and generous heart made life brighter for everyone blessed to know him.
William shared a beautiful life with his beloved wife, Angela, who was his constant companion, best friend, and source of strength. Their bond was built on love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to one another. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, understanding, and countless cherished memories.
Family was the center of William's world. He cherished every moment with his children and especially his grandchildren, who were the greatest joy of his life. Their laughter and energy lit up his days, and he never missed a chance to share stories, hugs, and adventures with them.
A true enthusiast at heart, William had a lifelong passion for Ford Mustangs. Whether he was behind the wheel, under the hood, or simply admiring the beauty of a classic model, Mustangs weren't just a hobby-they were a reflection of his spirit and excitement for life.
He also shared a special bond with his beloved fur baby, Tucker. Tucker was more than a pet; he was a loyal companion whose presence brought comfort, joy, and unconditional love into William's daily life.
Known for his kindness, humor, and open-hearted nature, William touched countless lives. He had a gift for making people feel welcome and valued, and his absence leaves a void that cannot be filled. His love and legacy will continue to live on in the memories he created and the hearts he touched.
He is survived by his loving wife Angela, son's William and wife Kaleigh, Dustin, and Austin, grandchildren Ella, Aubrey and Cohen Ellis, mother Jessie Ellis, a sister Robin Buck and husband Tony, a brother Michael Ellis and wife Misty and brother by heart Roy Pickens who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
A celebration of his life will be held 1:30pm, Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service - 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, where family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and honor a life lived with love, passion, and devotion. Burial will follow the service at Westview Gardens - 1123 Edgewood Rd, Bessemer City, NC 28016.
Rest easy, William. You will be forever loved, remembered, and missed.
