I met Bill at the University of Illinois Navy Pier in fall 1964, and we immediately became best friends, a close relationship which lasted over 58 years. In spring 1965, I introduced him to his future wife Violetta Aukstakalnis. I miss you Billy and will always treasure the long conversations we had and our tireless friendship. Rest in peace my friend, I think of you often.
