William Erby Obituary
William Morris Erby, 65, resident of Ashland, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union County following a brief illness.
Visitation honoring the life of Mr. Erby will be at 3 PM Sunday, March 12 at Southpoint Church located at 2010 Stateline Road West, Southaven, MS 38671 with a Memorial Service to follow.
Mr. Erby was born on April 11, 1957, the son of the late William C. and Bernece Moore Erby, received his education in the Westwood Public School System and was employed in the warehouse department with TruckPro, where he pulled parts for over 25 years before retirement.
A cheerful man who loved life, Mr. Erby found much pleasure in watching movies such as "Starwars" or anything scary and time shared with family on holidays such as Christmas.
Those left to cherish memories include one sister, Brenda Erby, one brother, Leonard Erby (Brenda Thweatt) and a host of nieces and nephews including Saylor, Heath, Jay, Will and Brandon Erby, Cameron and Colby Malone, Zachery and Sean Clemons, Dylan Craig, Racheal Butler, Jane Thweatt, Regina Malone, Kaylee Worley, Angela Burrows and Robert Herold
In addition to his parents, Mr. Erby is preceded in death by two sisters, Eva Herold and Barbara Erby, a brother, Rex Erby, and a nephew, Richard Herold.
