Sunday, September 11,2011 I found a flag stuck in a potted plant at First Baptist Prescott. A tag was attached to it asking me to do an act of kindness for some one in the memory of William Fallon. I am comitting myself to pray for his family every day for the rest of my life. I pray God to comfort you today.

Dear Fallons-
Since December of 2002 I have worn a ID bracelet where a portion of the sales go to the Todd M. Beamer Foundation. Along with this bracelet came a name. William F. Fallon. Even with this limited information, his name has become a part of my heart and memory. Whenever I feel the engraved silver bracelet wrap around my wrist I will remember William F. Fallon and pray for his family and friends. I am a stranger to you, yet this name has brought my here, and along with all the victims of September 11th, William has become an essential part of my heart and memory of a tragic day that brought America together.

We became friends with Bill and Brenda when we were all living in Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa. We have been blessed by their friendship for over 25 years. We have spent some great vacation times together here in NM, in Utah, and there in Princeton. We pray so often for Brenda and Chris and the rest of the family--for their comfort and peace. Bill was a blessing to so many. We miss him. "Greater love has no one than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13. We will see you in heaven someday, friend.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

Dear Fallons:
Eventhough I never had the pleasure of knowing William I now wear a memorial bracelet with William's name engraved on it and think of him on a daily basis. God bless you and your family.

Dear Fallons,
I was Bills' college roommate. My wife and I attended the funeral. Bill and I had plans to meet the Sunday after Sept 11 in Philadelphia and run a 1/2 marathon together. I feel sorry for Brenda and Chris. Bill truly loved them. My wife is going through chemotherapy and is fighting colon cancer. God has a plan for each of us. It is hard to understand some things that happen. I think of Bill everyday. We are praying for his family.

Dear Fallons -- It's been quite a while since St. Francis School and Woodside Swim Team, but when my mom told me about Bill I immediately flashed on Don, Stevie and Peter, especially, and Patty. I could remember them all only with a smile on their faces. It's unbearable to lose a child, but it is also a special kind of pain to lose a brother or sister. I'm so sorry for you all. You must be very proud of him for his courage and strength (and maybe a little mad at him for it, too). His example of selflessness is a beacon of hope, and grace, in the midst of the darkness that has caused so much sadness and fear in the world. What a gift to have had him in your lives.
