Dear Fenn Family,

I'm very sorry to hear about Bill's death. I was unaware of his passing until a few weeks ago when I was checking on old friends and co-workers on the net. Bill and I worked together in Wilmington, NC in the late 1970's while he was the Chief Engineer at WECT television. I credit Bill for getting me into Amateur Radio. His enthusiasm for passing on knowledge and teaching younger engineers how to do things better will always be remembered. He will be greatly missed.

73 to you my friend...

Bill was a great friend with whom I spent a
good number of hours, at meetings of AMRAD,
at lunch with the Tacos crowd, at the
special-events station commenting the Civil
War that was a special interest oF his.

I am truly sorry to hear about his passing and
needless to say, he will be missed.

Please accept my sincere condolences. It is always with a heavy heart that we say good bye to loved ones. Our Creator gives us a future and a hope where we can be reunited with those we love forever. Jeremiah 29:11

I am truly sorry to have heard the sad news of Bill's recent death. Bill was a good friend, a great Anglophile and a nice fellow to spend time with. My son Alex and I shall never forget the joyous day in August 2014 we spent being driven around the Civil War sites around Virginia by Frank Gentges with Bill sharing his great knowledge and insight into those historic events. Also the happy times spent with Bill in Frank's Lab on many visits. We laughed a lot together and shared stories of London in between technical tips and insights.

Our condolences to the family at this time. May Bill rest in peace.
