William Leonard "Bill" Ferguson

William "Bill" Leonard Ferguson, 93, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away on July 10, 2024, in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born March 20, 1931, in Gillsville, Georgia to William Patrick Ferguson and Lillie Mae Tate Ferguson.
He founded Polar Express in Springdale in the early 70s after he moved there with his young family, and worked his entire life in the trucking industry. He enjoyed hunting and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Springdale.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Louise Ferguson, one son, Kenneth Ferguson, and four brothers, Richard Ferguson, Johnny Ferguson, Harold Ferguson and Bobby Ferguson; and one sister, Patsy Davis.
Survivors include two sons, Mike Ferguson and Steve Ferguson (Cachet), both of Springdale; two brothers, Jerry Ferguson and Jimmy Ferguson of Georgia; one sister, Joan Faust of Georgia; seven grandchildren, Christa Muse (Paul), Kayla Malone (Mike), Stephen Ferguson (Margaret), Kyle Ferguson, Kendra Ferguson, Kenzie Short (Thomas) and Lauren Turner (Cody) and eight great-grandchildren, Hayden Lawrence, Ireland and Ivy Malone, Brody Ferguson, Kaylee and Penelope Ferguson, Scarlett and Sophie Short.
Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 10 AM to 12 PM at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale. A funeral service will follow at 2 PM at First United Methodist Church in Springdale.
Private burial will be at Friendship Cemetery.
