William Fitzgerald Obituary
William Charlie Fitzgerald, age 84, a resident of Culleoka, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, at his residence.
Born on November 8, 1940, in Hickman County, Tennessee, William was the son of the late Albert Marcy Fitzgerald and the late Eula Jewell Fisher Fitzgerald. He worked for many years as a Volkswagen mechanic before becoming a skilled boat mechanic and retiring from Clark Marine in Franklin. Even after retirement, he dedicated several years to working with Maury County Solid Waste. He was also a proud farmer. William was a true outdoorsman; he especially enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was sincerely loved by his family, friends, and many special neighbors.
He is survived by his sisters, Margie (Jimmy) Boshers, Martha Black, beloved German Shepard, Wilda, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carlene Fitzgerald, and siblings, Mary Bozeman, Joyce Senter, Walter D. Fitzgerald, and Lou Baltrip.
There will be a celebration of life held at the Mynders Community Center in the McCains Community at a later date.
