William Bryon Fletcher

William Bryon Fletcher, 67, of Middlesex passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Pastor Kenneth Wagnon will officiate.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon prior to the service from 1 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.

Bryon served his country with honor and pride with the US Army. He worked with Barnhill for twenty-five years. Bryon had a huge heart, would help anyone in need, he had a great sense of humor right up till the very end and he enjoyed being outside. He played the guitar in family band.

Bryon is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Sherry Fletcher; niece, Jessica Seat and husband, Rob; god daughters, Danielle Hawley and Beth Joyner; great niece, Joanne Seat; great nephew, Bryon Seat; sister, Paula Tarnaski; father-in-law, Quenton Williams; and his brothers, Chuck Fletcher and wife, Dana, and Jerry Lynn Fletcher.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Dollie Mae Cossey, and his sister, Rhonda Michele Vandergriff.
