David, Edwin and Gary,
I was sorry to hear of father's death. I always loved seeing your parents as I rode my bike or my horse down Culbert Drive. Marion was a great place to grow up! I am sure you have fond memories of growing up in Marion,as I do. My parents are now together in heaven and going home does not seem the same. I know you will treasure the time you had with your parents and those memories will be more precious as time goes on... I know there are no words but know that there prayers for you and your families.

David and family,
I have missed your dad Henry often at Imperial Plaza. He was always so willing to do just about any activity program but especially any trip and most importantly to him I believe, our "Men's Dinner Club" we had monthly. He was envied and loved by so many here. It is also rare to know such a caring and involved family member like yourself. When he was failing with his health or any issue for that matter, you were always so attentive and supportive of your Dad. One would hope all children would do and be the same for their parents. I know he enjoyed living with us and we enjoyed him immensely.

Edwin and I wish to express our sympathy to you in the loss of your father. I remember well the times we spent Thanksgiving with you in Marion. I thought a lot of both your parents. Edwin and Kaye Legard Thurman

The world was a better place when Henry and Perkie were here, I am sure they will improve Heaven, they were the first people we met when we moved to Marion and went to the Methodist Church, wandering around lost when they came to our rescue.
