William Dell Freeland, age 76, of Westmoreland, TN, passed away December 15, 2024. He was born October 28, 1948 to the late Charles Eugene Freeland and Lenora Pearl Cline in Portland, TN.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bryant Freeland and Darrell Freeland.
Mr. Freeland is survived by his wife, Sharon Casteel Freeland; his children, David (Jen) Freeland and Angela (Scott) Gordon; his step-daughter, Shelley Harley; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brother, Brian Freeland; and his sister, Brenda Curtis.
Mr. Freeland was a United States Army Veteran. He served during the Vietnam Era and was a member of the local VFW. William was a teamster and an over the road truck driver for Rodeway.
Funeral services for Mr. Freeland will be conducted on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 12PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Lionel Borders and Sis. Chris Troutt officiating. Inurnment will be in the New Hope Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, December 19th from 4PM till 8PM and again on Friday, December 20th from 9AM till service time at 12PM at Woodard Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family request you make donations to a charity of your choice. These can be made at the office of Woodard Funeral Home.
The family has entrusted Woodard Funeral Home with the care of their loved one.
