William Garry Sargent Obituary
Mr. William Garry Sargent, age 78, of College Grove, TN, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 11, 2025. He was a native of Toronto, Canada and the son of the late William Earnest Sargent and Joan Southall Sargent. Mr. Sargent was the owner and operator of a construction company.
Mr. William loved the outdoors, especially being on the water boating and fishing. He enjoyed swimming also. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with them.
Mr. Sargent is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Linda Sargent of College Grove, TN; 3 children, Tracy (Garry) Bruen of Oakland, TN, Donovan (Becky) Sargent of College Grove, TN, William Sargent, Jr. of College Grove, TN; 3 grandchildren, Caitlyn Bruen, Lucy Bruen, and Liam Bruen.
In accordance with the request of Mr. Sargent, there will be no public services at this time. The family will host a private service later.
LAWRENCE FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION SERVICES, 203 South Horton Pkwy, Chapel Hill, TN, 931-364-2233 is in charge arrangements.
