William B. Gilbert Jr., 86 years of age, passed away Sunday morning at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit in Edgewood. Bill was the loving husband of Patricia Schmidt Gilbert, the loving father of Tracy Gilbert, Vicky Warrington, and step-father of Cindy Moore, Kathy (Conley) Ashcraft, Chris Conley, Shawn Conley, Sally Owens. He was the grandpa of 21, great-grandpa of 16, great-great-grandpa of 1; as well as the dear brother of Cathy (Gilbert) Ashcraft and Steve Gilbert. Bill was preceded in death by his son Timmy Gilbert, grandchildren Kelcie Lee , Dave Warrington and Danielle (Sis) Lynn.
Visitation will be May 1,2025 from 10:30 am until 11:30 am at Mary Queen of Heaven Church in Erlanger, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 am. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to: Wounded Warrior Project P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
