William R. Green, 97, of Hellertown, Pennsylvania, and formerly of Hampton and Lebanon Township, New Jersey, passed away on November 29, 2025, at Saucon Valley Manor.
Born on November 25, 1928, in Chatham, Louisiana, William was the son of the late Jessie B. Green and Mamie Green (nee. Christina). He was a graduate of Chatham High School in Louisiana and proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II.
William worked as a superintendent in pipeline construction until his retirement in 1990. He was a dedicated member of the Masonic Lodge and enjoyed traveling. Known for his exceptional work ethic, he was admired for his commitment, reliability, and strength of character.
He is survived by his son, Roy Dale Green, and his wife, Harriet, as well as his granddaughter, Rebecca Elizabeth Green. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sylvia, who passed in 2016.
