William Greene, Jr., affectionately known as "PeeWee", 82, departed this life on November 22, 2025 at Preferred Care Nursing Home in Hamilton, NJ after a long illness.
Born on February 8, 1943 in Trenton, NJ to the late William Greene, Sr. and Dorothy Davis, he was a lifelong Trenton/Ewing resident and attended Trenton and Ewing Public Schools.
William joined the United States Army in which he served in Frankford, Germany and received an honorable discharge after this service. He was a member of the South Trenton Golden Gloves Club. William also served as deacon under Pastor Leggett at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on North Clinton Ave.
PeeWee was a very talented man, a storyteller, an artist, a painter, a photographer, a boxer, and a barber. His memory will be cherished forever by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Trisha MacMillan Greene; daughter, Kimberly Ann Jackson; stepson, Ernest MacMillan, Jr.; sister, Sharon Rose Greene; two brothers, Richard and Michael Leysath; and a brother-in-law, David Cruse.
William is survived by his sister, Claudette Cruse; three grandsons, Aubrey Jackson, James Jabree Jackson, and Quayshawn Jackson; one granddaughter, Labree Jackson; great granddaughter, Aziyah Davis; great grandsons, Levi and Liam Jackson; special close family friend, Ranyatda Culver; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Let us all take comfort in knowing that now he will be forever strong, healthy and free. He will forever live on in our stories and our hearts.
