William Adrian Griffin

William A. Griffin, 67, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026 at his home in Deep Run, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Esley Griffin (Buddy) and Eleanor Janet Hardison Griffin of Deep Run. He was also preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Terry Griffin of Stokes. William was a loving brother and uncle. He loved all his nieces and nephews as if they were his own.

Through the years, William enjoyed many hobbies such as listening to music, cooking, planting flowers and being an aquarist. Although in more recent years, his health took a turn and he was unable to continue his hobbies. William always made everyone laugh and through everything, he never lost his sense of humor.

William is survived by his sisters; Pamela Garris (Butch) of South Carolina, Phyllis Turnage and Veronica Broadie, both of Deep Run, NC.; brothers, Glenn Griffin of Stokes, NC and Brian Griffin (Mary) of Deep Run, NC; 10 nieces and nephews, 20 grandnieces and grandnephews, and 3 great-grand nieces.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill.
