Condolences to Uncle Willy´s daughter Bea and family. Having lived in ulster county since 1985, I have many fond memories of his colorful, wardrobe and lively personality. He will definitely be missed at the Rosendale Street festival.

To the family and loved ones of William Guldy, I send you my deepest sympathy. I go back 75 years or more with the Guldy family and it´s been a pleasure to have known each and everyone of them.
Willy had something that drew you to him. He wanted you to realize that you were special. He was one in a million.
I will never forget Uncle Willy.
I remember the day when he became him.
We had three in our lives back then,
Uncle Micky ( Tiano)
Uncle Ernie ( Greco)
Then came Uncle Willy.
Rest In Peace Willy
Rest In Peace

It's hard to accept that the random Uncle Willy run-ins will no longer be. From the nights at the Rondout Bay listening to the B-Boyz, to our two man show bartending at Tony's on a Saturday night! I will forever hold the memories in my heart. You are a legend... one that I know we all thought was immortal. Thank you for your spirit, kindness, and everlasting love for your community. You will be missed

You were always a part of my life in so many random ways. 1st of all, my dad (Bruce Finch) loved you and always looked up to you. I'll never forget the appearance you made at his wake in 2003 & I'll forever appreciate that. We 1st met on Fair Street when I was just 5 years old and your bathroom fell down into our apartment, I'm so happy we were all ok!
Throughout the years you watched me grow up, I was at your bar at a very young age all the time on Broadway (Uncle Willy's!) and still have saved memorabilia. - Willy always gave me a high five whenever we'd see each other later in life, and had our last drink together when I was visiting Kingston in 2014. Uncle Willy, you are so very missed. My deepest condolences to your family, your friends & beyond. I'm so happy I was able to know such a wonderful character of both Rosendale and Kingston. Love always, Rachel Harding. (Finch)

Rest in peace Billy and thank you for staying the same from the time I met you in the mid 1970´s at the Astoria Hotel until last time I saw you sitting uptown "K-Town"with the same greeting of "My man how are you" Thanks for always keeping great music in Kingston Especially in the 1980s at Uncle Willy´s on Broadway probably the best joint you ever operated. Rest easy Uncle Willy

He always made me smile from the late 50´s till now. In fact the thought of him always puts a smile on my face he is/was one of a kind and end of an era. I´ll will always remember seeing him from the time when I was quite young at Sportsman´s Park to the last time I saw him at his establishment on North Front Street.

My sincerest condolences to Bea and Beth and family.

R.I.P. my friend keep those angles busy with their music.
