William "Bill" Gummere III

The best man at our wedding because, well, he was just that - the very best man! A true gentleman in every sense of the word he defined what it means to be polite. Wise beyond his years, he had a quick witted answer and robust laugh for everything with a captivating story to follow. No one could tell a story better than Papa Bill! The most all around intelligent and fascinating man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and loving, I consider myself as having hit the jackpot in the father-in-law department. He will be greatly missed.

Bill was a first class guy and a keen listener.He remembered everything I told him. We enjoyed our tennis together and being members of the Aptos Owls.
