William "Bill" Hall, 58, of Lexington, passed away on November 23, 2025. He was born on November 20, 1967, in Huntington, Indiana to the late William A. Hall and Margaret F. Gray Hall.
Bill was a devoted husband to Jody (Striggle) Hall, a loving father to Lori (Grayson) Murray and Eric (Emily) Hall, as well as a proud grandfather to Leo and Dean Hall, and Vera and Mia Murray. He is also survived by his siblings Larry (Brenda) Hall and Harry Hall. Bill's presence was also enjoyed by his extended family members and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in passing by his sister, Nancy (Bill) McKeller, and niece, Tracy Stillwell.
A natural people person, Bill used his charisma to build two successful businesses, Hall Machinery and Metalworking Machinery, where he and his son, Eric, represented multiple companies as sales representatives. Outside of work, Bill poured his heart into the things and people he loved most. He was happiest spending time with his grandchildren at his pool, traveling with his wife, attending races at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, and driving around Lexington in his 1983 Mustang 5.0.
Bill will be remembered for his extraordinary generosity. He was a donor for Columbus Children's Hospital, and as an organ donor, he was able to donate corneas, skin, and bones in his arms and legs after his passing. People who knew Bill also highlighted his rare ability to make anyone feel valued in conversation. He had a gift for making people feel seen, welcomed, and important. He will be forever remembered by his family, friends, and even customers and colleagues of his self-built businesses.
Calling hours will take place on Sunday, November 30th from 3-6 p.m. at Snyder Funeral Homes, Lexington Avenue Chapel. The funeral service will be held 10 am, Monday, December 1 at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery. Concluding services there will be a time of fellowship and a meal at Fusion Church in Lexington.
If desired, please consider a donation in Bill's memory to Nationwide Children's Hospital via the following link https://www.nationwidechildrens.org/giving
