William "Bill"
83, of East Oakmont, born and raised in Braddock, formerly of Swissvale and Penn Hills, passed on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years, Isabell "Sanne" Harajda; daughter Marisa Jean Harajda (Jimmy Pfeiffer), son, William David (Lisa) Harajda; gramps of Madilyn "Maddie" Harajda, Emily "Emi" Harajda; brother in law of Dr. Jean Oertel, special friend to Joey and Sammy; special father to fur babies Holly, Alvin, Vinny; special gramps to fur babies Ollie, Mushu, Nicky, Sophie, and Eddie. Bill was preceded in his passing by his best fur friend, Gabbie. Bill was a fan of antique cars. He restored them in his spare time, and his pride and joy was his antique '56 Cadillac and his '82 El Dorado. He frequented many car shows and won awards for his expert restoration of both cars. Bill's other passion was his collection of Lionel trains. He used to set up a large model train display that would take up the entire game room with its detail. In his spare time, he would always be found tinkering with his cars and trains. Friends received, Saturday, January 3rd, from 1pm - 2pm at Penn Hills Baptist Church, where a service will be held at 2:00 pm. Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd., 7450 Saltsburg Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15235, has been entrusted for arrangements.
