William "Gus" Harmon, 78, went to be with the Lord on November 26, 2025.

Gus was born on November 17, 1947 to Ruban and Nellie (Shealy) Harmon in Lexington, SC.

Gus was born and raised in South Carolina and played baseball in High School. His High School baseball team went to and won the state championship in 1964. He joined the Air Force, then worked and retired from the retail business.

Gus enjoyed watching sports, especially his two favorite teams the Astros and the Cubs, working in the yard and one of his favorite hobbies was singing karaoke. One of his favorite things to do was to sit out under the carport and socialize with his neighbors in the evenings and talking on the phone with all his friends and family. Gus loved going to church on Sunday mornings with his brother in law Lawrence. But, his greatest love was his family and grandchildren, which he was always there for them.

Gus is survived by his son Jason Wollny, grandchildren; Gianna Wollny and Paul Wollny, Sister; Vivian Simerly and brother in law Rick of Lexington, SC, Niece; Vivian Alexander and Nephews; Matthew Harmon and Craig Harmon.

He is preceded in death by his wife Lillian Harmon, parents; Ruban and Nellie Harmon and a borther; Bo Harmon Jr.
