William Henderson Obituary
Hank is survived by: his daughters, Sarah Beth, Hannah McKenzie (Connor), and Hailey Santos (Seth); his sister Jody Baggett (Keith); his mother and father, Mary and Billy Henderson; nephews, Tanner and Taylor Baggett; and grandson, Hayes Santos.
He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Sidney and Clementine Herren; and paternal grandparents, Carmon Henderson and Pearl Henderson Sears.
Hank was born on July 8, 1963 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Billy and Mary Henderson. He grew up in England, Arkansas with close friends and family, and graduated from England Academy. He attended the University of Central Arkansas, and he was an alumnus of the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity, where he served as Vice President. Hank received the distinguished alumnus award for UCA, he was a member of the Purple Circle, and a member of the UCA Foundation board for 4 years.
Hank served as CEO of America's Car-Mart, where he worked for over 30 years. Hank was an avid businessman, and was dedicated to contributing to the development of Northwest Arkansas.
Hank was a devoted father to his three girls. He was a talented musician, and an active member of the music community in Arkansas. He loved playing music with his band, Cousin Smitty, which he formed with his cousin and close friend Scott Herren, who passed away in 2021. Hank loved to spend time in the outdoors, whether it be hunting in Stuttgart, skiing and hiking in Crested Butte, Colorado, or on Beaver Lake.
A private ceremony for close friends and family will be held on Thursday morning. The family is hosting a public celebration of life on Thursday, October 19th at 4:00 pm at the Meteor Guitar Gallery downtown Bentonville. Friends and family are welcome to drop by to honor Hank's life.

Hank was such a big part of my career with Car Mart. We spent a lot of time together and I can´t thank him enough for all he did for my family. All of those hours driving down the road will always be cherished.
There are so many stories I could tell, but one that stands out in my mind was when we were working on opening our location in Shawnee,OK Hank was helping paint the exterior of the building. Hank had a Wagner Power Sprayer and was making tons of progress. If you have ever been to Shawnee you will know that it tends to be a windy town. Well, his spraying was making its way over to a Doctor´s office next door where a newer Mercedes was parked. The owner of the car came over yelling for us to stop painting. Hank had peppered the entire car with paint! It was so uncomfortable at the time but after a while we all busted out laughing. I´ll never forget Hank´s look when the owner showed us his car. So funny!
My condolences to the family, Hank was one of a kind!
