Mr. William Ray Henderson, 83, of Clara, MS passed from this life Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Saturday, August 1, 1942 to the late Lillie Mae Buxton Henderson and George Fred Henderson. Mr. Henderson was a veteran who served in the Mississippi National Guard. He was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church.

Mr. Henderson is preceded in death by his parents, Lillie Mae and George Fred Henderson; brothers, Fred "F. M." Henderson, Sr., William Vonell "Von" Henderson; and sister, Betty Jean Ferguson. He is survived by his sons, Randall Henderson and Kyle Henderson (Samantha) of Clara; grandchildren, Kayla Henderson, Caleb "Bub" Henderson (Nichole), Nathan Henderson, Jade Hayes (Tae), Bailey Grace Freeman, Parker Anne Dickinson, Mandy Reeves (Adam), Catlin Duvall (Brooke); great grandchildren, Cambree Luker, Caityn Henderson, Kace Hayes, Ely Hayes, Coltlen Hinton, Emersyn Hinton, Kelsyn Hinton, Adalyn Reeves, Charley Kate Reeves, Aubree Duvall, Easton Duvall; his loving friend and companion, Barbara Rockwell, and her daughter, Amy Luegge; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Henderson was a retired Truck Driver with Scotch Plywood. He was a farmer as well. Most days he could be found on his tractor or a lawn mower. Mr. Henderson loved the Lord. He served as a Sunday School teacher for the senior men at Big Creek Baptist Church. He shared his love for the Lord by serving his community by visiting with the elderly and friends and offering them any help he was able to provide. Mr. Henderson was affectionately known as "PawPaw" to not only his children and grandchildren but to many other extended family and friends and "Uncle WeeWee" to his loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Henderson will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, December 12, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 13, 2025 at White House Chapel in Waynesboro, MS with a Lie-In-State from 09:30 AM to 11:00 AM with Rev. Drew Holifield and Rev. Matt Olson officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
