I am writing from India. I was in the U.S. from 2000 to 2003. In 2002, i was visiting my Uncle's friend who was suffering from diabetic retinopathy - he worked in NY transit. I had just completed my Master's and not yet started working, so I visited my Uncle's friend to support him for a few days.

Bill(I will call him Uncle Bill from here-on) visited him being a colleague in NY Transit. Seeing that I was visiting and had no friends there, Uncle Bill took me to a baseball game(it was a Yankees game). I can never forget his act of kindness - taking a complete stranger of a different race/ethnicity just to make me feel better

I pray to God to give strength to Uncle Bill's family and would like to tell you that he is always with you..

I want to send my condolences from
My Mom Irma Senat. Bill would often take my mom to life saving medical appointments as a volunteer at Office of the aging .
She said bill treated her with respect and care. We are so thankful for all that he did for the people he cares about.
I am sending many prayers.
