I was saddened to hear the news about Mr. Hill. Best wishes and condolences to family. We all have Mr. Hill stories. He was my 7th grade history teacher, "Lions 2 Christians 0" was one of his standard Roman history lines.
His stand on his basketball players not partaking in an, off season, football weightlifting mandate was an epic event.
But more than that, my best recollection was that he was always kind, instructive and loved to laugh.

Mr Hill was a wonderful coach and teacher . He was such a sweet man . I loved playing basketball in highschool and I never would have even got involved with the sport if it wasn't for his influence and faith in my ability. I will always remember this dear gentleman.
