Bill wasn't too impressed with my singing "Amazing Grace" to him at his bedside. His reaction is one I will never forget: A slight grimace, and a very low-voiced "Ah.. No" --- As if he couldn't wait for the last verse to be sung.
This was a blow to my "musician's ego", however, his reaction has driven me to continue working on my "singing" voice and to never give up;)
Last, I will not write the words "With Sympathy" because I am assured that those who have put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior is promised life eternal in Heaven. You made it, Bill. I'll be seeing you some day in that wonderful Kingdom!
