William Hollingsworth Obituary

William proudly served his country in the United States Army and later retired from the City of Mt. Pleasant. Throughout his life, he was known for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and love of the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, cooking, and gardening-simple joys that brought him great happiness.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Hollingsworth; granddaughter, Ashley Jackson; sister, Sonja Hollingsworth; brother, Richard "Bobby" Hollingsworth; and sister, Peggy Evans.
William was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Annie Hollingsworth; his beloved daughter, Lori Jackson; and sisters, Judy Mort and Patty Morris.
A private family service will be held to honor William's life.
William will be remembered as a devoted husband, brother, father, and grandfather. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will be deeply missed by all.
