Funeral services for William “Bill” House will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Brett Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends at 11:00 a.m. Saturday prior to the service.
Bill was born April 11, 1938, in Little Rock, Arkansas and entered into rest January 14, 2025, in Minden, Louisiana. He served his country in the United States Navy. Bill retired from law enforcement.
He was preceded in death by his parents Elbert and Mattie House, his first wife, Shirley Ann House and sister Connie Maddox.
He is survived by his wife Rita House of Minden, sons, Merlin Wade House (Rhonda) of Dallas, Texas and Donald House (Sharon) of Tyler, Texas, daughters, Lanette House Vasquez of Bossier City, and Christina Smith (Jimmy) of Minden, brother-in-law, Keith Maddox, grandchildren, Ashley Long (Matthew), Ray Vasquez (Lisa), Jonathan House, Christopher House, Ashton Heard, Madison Smith, and Cameron Smith, and great-grandchildren, Madison and Seth Adams, and Victoria and Charlotte Vasquez.
