Mr. Hyatt was a great person who cared about others. I enjoyed my conversations with him over the years since high school with a focus on family and things that are really important in life. He had great patience in teaching/coaching, a skill I have still not developed. He will be missed.

I worked alongside Bill at WTHS. He was the nicest man, doing all he could for his beloved pups, well liked by his students and colleagues. He always had a smile on his face. My thoughts are with his family as they go through this difficult time. My prayers are with Bill as he meets up with his family and friends that pre-deceased him; they are running the bases in heaven.

I coached JV football with Billy for over a decade. While he could throw a football 40 yards like a bullet, he understood a shaky sophomore who had trouble completing a short pass in the flat. The kids wanted to win for him. Talented athlete, fierce family man, down jersey funny, and totally sincere, Bill made all of us better people to have known him. I bet Billy is throwing 80 yarders in heaven, just sayin´.

I´m extremely sad to hear this news. Mr. Hyatt was someone I looked up to and reflected on every word he spoke to me. I know he made me a better student, person and man. The world would be better with more people like him.

Mr. Hyatt was one of a kind!! His laugh was infectious and it is what I will remember most about him! Coach played an integral part in my development as a player and as a coach after my playing career ended. He always greeted me with a smile and a crazy story of the day. You will be missed Mr. Hyatt!! Love ya Coach!! Rest Easy!!
