William G. Ingraham, 76, passed away at his home in Newark, IL Tuesday October 28, 2025, with his loving wife Sandi, at his side. He was born April 13,1949 in
Aurora, IL. Bill's parents Eugene and Dorothy (Frieders) Ingraham along with granddaughter Roma Pattison and brother Robert Ingraham preceded him in death. Bill attended St. Peters Grade School and Roncalli High School where he was inspired to be an automotive engineer. His mechanical career began at Mick's Standard and transitioned to his father's Texaco station. Bill partnered with Jim Langston to establish their own station known as Hilltop Automotive. After his automotive career, Bill went on to become a maintenance supervisor at Fox Metro Water Reclamation District for over 32 years. Bill was a gifted mechanic and built several cars for either show or racing. He spent the majority of his early race days at Oswego Drag Strip. For the last few decades, Bill's passion was racing his 1965 Chevy II, also known as "White Trash". Bill enjoyed spending time with family, friends and enjoyed the outdoors while fishing and hunting. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sandi, a son Jason, and a daughter Sarah (Grant) Pattison. 10 grandchildren; Diante, Christian, Hannah, Baylor, Eleni, Doran, Roman, Evelyn, Daniel, and Lily and 2 great-grandchildren; Arthur and Iris. 6 sisters; Mary (Ed) Kackert, Martha, Nancy (the late Ken) May, Sharon Ceranek, Therese (Tim) Blake, and Pamela (Tim) Julien. 3 brothers; John, Joe, and Paul; his loving cat Belair along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Family will be receiving guests Monday Nov 3, 2025 from 3pm to 7pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway in Montgomery. Funeral Mass Tuesday November 4, 2025, 10am at St. Patrick Catholic Church 406 Walnut Street in Yorkville. In lieu of flowers, donations to
