HARTLAND-William T. Johnson, 65, a wonderful husband and son, died peacefully on March 4, 2026, in Bangor.

He was born on February 25, 1961, in Providence, RI, the son of the late Ray and Lily (Robinson) Johnson Sr. He worked over 20 years at the Hartland Tannery, where he had met his wife, Theresa, and the last few years, he was employed at Puritan Medical.

Bill was a kind, generous, and sweet gentleman. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing, both ice and open water.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Theresa Johnson of Hartland; siblings: Karen Pett, Margaret Brooks, Daniel Johnson and wife Dee, Anne Csizmesia, all of Warwick, RI, and Sam Johnson and wife Pam of Jacksonville, NC; in-laws, Ronald and Lottie Lyford; brother-in-law, Roger Lyford and wife Dawn Marie; and a large extended family of many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; siblings: Raymond Johnson Jr, Richard Johnson, and Carl Johnson; and two aunts, Anne Lamoureux and Vera Eid.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Route 152, in Hartland with Pastor Reeni Cipullo officiating.
