William J Jones

1981 - 2024

William Joseph Jones (Billy) born on October 17,1981. Billy received his Angel Wings on February 4,2024 and entered Our Heavenly Father's Kingdom. Beloved son, brother and friend to all.
Billy is survived by Mrs. Carol Ann Smith Byrnes, Miss Desiree Jones, Mr. & Mrs. Patrick Jones (Courtney, Cooper & Jack River) Mr. & Mr. Christopher Jones (Laura, Charli & Scarlett) Mr. John F. Smith Sr., Mr. John F Smith Jr., Mr. & Mrs. Richard Mead (Bernadette) Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Smith (Deanna, Alex, Jacob, and Sydney) as well as many Aunts, Uncles & Cousins.
Predeceased by Mr. John B. Byrnes II, Mrs. Ann Smith Mr. & Mrs. Alfred Jones Sr., Mr, Alfred Jones Jr., Miss Margorie Jones and Mrs. Theresa Wittenwiller.
Billy was born at Atlantic City Hospital and grew up in EHT and Galloway Twp., NJ. Billy graduated from EHT middle school in 1996 and Absegami High School in 2000. Billy went on to graduate from Stockton College in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree of Arts. Billy worked at Seaview Marriott Country Club as an Aisleman for 13 years. Billy also attended Stockton College and was involved in the Stockton Oratorio Society. Billy loved giving back to his community with the various volunteer services that he participated in, including the LPGA classic for 12 years and Atlanticare Regional Medical Center for 4 years. Billy was a member of the Jersey Shore Baptist Church and received Baptism on October 16, 2022. Billy loved being a member of the church with his best friend and sister Desiree, serving the Lord and even volunteered at Kids Klub which brought him so much joy.
Billy had many talents and hobbies; an avid reader, he enjoyed history, science, math and physics. He loved listening to music, especially classical. A true sports fan, Billy loved all sports, including college level and the NFL. Billy loved rooting for his favorite teams including the NY Giants, Atlanta Braves and the Philadelphia Phillies. Billy was also a wonderful and talented artist, a true natural. Billy enjoyed photography, particularly capturing photos of family and friends as well as all of nature's beautiful flowers. Billy was also a member of the Galloway Cultural Arts Center. Billy was a true gentleman, the finest of the finest and humanitarian.
Billy touched the lives of everyone he met. A true son, brother and friend to all - Billy lived his life to the fullest in his 42 short years here on earth. Billy shall be and will be always and forever remembered by his family and friends.
Billy's celebration of Life will be held on Saturday February 10, 2024 at Jersey Shore Baptist Church 216 South Wrangleboro Rd. Galloway, NJ 08205 Gallery at 11:00am. Service at 12:00 pm followed by a luncheon at the church.
